as per an Obama campaign promise, the legislation is supposed to be on public view on the web for at least 5 days before it can become law, also there is this little matter of reconciling it with the House version, that means potentially MONTHS of kvetching about it in the House before there is something for Obama to sign.

House passed it a month ago, Senate passed it this morning. Now comes the reconciliation to resolve the differences between the two Houses; than it is over. The president just signs it into law. Will be late January sometime. Healthcare for all Americans. It is about time.
