How could the Wisconsin anti-union legislation be passed without a quorum if they were for a financial purpose?

Surely the Wisconsin Republicans Senators didn't LIE about their reasons? How could the Wisconsin anti-union legislation be passed without a quorum if they were for a financial purpose?
scott walker and the republican state senators there are going to be recalled in december....they didn't campaign on this at all....which is why 65% of the people are against it....it's not like healthcare where the dems campaigned on pushing something through, and people knew that....this just came out of the blue, and voters don't like that
Had ALL Wisconsin legislative Democrats attend the special legislative session and voted against the anti-Union bill, one of two things would have happened: a) The bill would have been passed anyway ( what Gov. Walker would have wanted ) or 2) It would have a "tie vote" and be in limbo ( likely outcome that Gov. Walker would NOT wish for ).

Strategically, it would have been wise for Wisconsin Democrats to report en masse and voted enough to tie out the bill, instead of hiding out like targets of Mafia leg-breakers. It's just the way Gov. Walker went about issues prior to the vote that raise red flags of suspicions perhaps....but I get this real feeling that very well hidden is the fact that Wisconsin politics may be dangerously dirtier than most realize.

But on record--Walker did appear to give the state Democrat party ample time to report to work.

However, I suspect they well knew all along on HOW to get around the Democrats: Simply remove ALL spending issues from the anti-Union bill, which according to Wisconsin Law--does NOT require votes from both Democrat and Republican party legislator votes. Once that is done, in less than 30 seconds--all Republicans, with Walker's blessing, vote out nearly ALL labor wage collective bargaining rights granted to Wisconsin employees, except for police and fire fighters.

Wisconsin politics: sneaky, very dirty---and sad for Wisconsin employees. Walker may have won his battle---but you see that HUGE sea of protesters out there? Well---THEY VOTE. And come time for re-election, IF the people there don't bring up RECALL vote issue ( which they likely will soon ), Walker--and the entire Wisconsin Republican party corps-- will NOT find themselves in for another elected office term.

So the electoral drama in Wisconsin is FAR FAR from over!! In fact, it's starting to get good. How could the Wisconsin anti-union legislation be passed without a quorum if they were for a financial purpose?
They voted on it separate from the finances so it didn't require a quorum and now the cowardly Democrats are complaining that they didn't have a chance to debate. Unbelievable! If they weren't hiding in Illinois they could have debated all they wanted to. What a joke..
Walker gave the Democrats a chance to come back and get something out of it...but they refused.

Besides I don't remember you complaining about slight of hand legislative actions when Obamacare was passed. How could the Wisconsin anti-union legislation be passed without a quorum if they were for a financial purpose?
It wasnt' a lie. Collective Bargaining had nothing to do with the financial end of the legislation. Oh well....

Congratulations WI and Gov. Walker.
They separated it from the legislation and voted on it without the 14 AWOL democrats.

Brilliant.

No "lie" needed.
All fiscal legislation was taken out of the bill.

God Bless Governor Walker and the GOP! THANK YOU.
It a sad day in America when the haves get their way and crush even more of the middle class.
