Why is Pelosi repealing the rules to effectively block all Republican inputs on legislation?

Gingrich added the rules in 1996 to allow both sides of the table a voice in creating bills. The rules also had term limits for committee seats. Why is Pelosi trying squashing all promises of bipartisanship by telling the Republicans to stay home because they don't matter anyway? Why is Pelosi repealing the rules to effectively block all Republican inputs on legislation?
Your asking about this web link:

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?i…

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation." +

"Pelosi’s rule changes -- which may be voted on today -- will reverse the fairness rules that were written around Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America.”

"Reforms to the House Rules as part of the Contract with America were designed to open up to public scrutiny what had become under this decades-long Democrat majority a dangerously secretive House legislative process."

They now feel Totally empowered to bring back secret hyper corrupt democrat power to dictate with impunity.

"Franken was named the victor by the Minnesota Canvassing Board, the five-member panel appointed and led by Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, who has been criticized for ties to the ACORN voter-registration organization the federal government is investigating for alleged vote fraud, as well as to left-wing billionaire George Soros."

because she was molested as a child and is now looking to vent her angerWhy is Pelosi repealing the rules to effectively block all Republican inputs on legislation?

all the bad mouthing by the liberal left about Newt, yet San Fran

Nan Pelosi proves to be the fascist we knew she and her ilk really are!Why is Pelosi repealing the rules to effectively block all Republican inputs on legislation?
I think you got it backwards my European friend.

The dems are trying to keep the rules in place that Gingrich made giving the majority party MORE power... Gingrich did this assuming the republicans would hold an everlasting majority.

Now the republicans are trying to REVERSE those rules and Pelosi is blocking them.

Fair turnaround and I dont blame her one bit... (though I have other issues with her in particular).
Because with the democrats, it is all about power. They want their own little dictatorship and will do anything to get it. If it's legal fine, if it's illegal even better. Rules don't apply to them.
Because like all loony liberals, they really believe that they, the liberals, have the right to govern our country. Other opinions do not matter.

Fire the bums before it is too late. Get them all out of office and save our country from the liberal dictators.
for the same reason pelosi, reid, and company are pushing to end NPR conservative talk radio. look it up
Do you have a source?
Because she can get away with it.
She is the biggest insult to the United States government that has ever been elected to an office. ( and yes that means worse than George to all you Bush haters) She has no business in politics. She and Harry Reid are nothing but a kick in the sack to the Democratic party.
pelosi want to stay in power
The answer is quite simple. If you will refer to her latest book, "Know Your Power: A Message to America's Daughters", page 72. Oh wait, that's right, nobody has read that piece of literary genius. Sorry, I guess you'll have to settle on the answer that she is a no good -insert derogatory female term here-.

P.S. I've heard her book is a great natural sleeping aid to fight insomnia.
The democrats are using the same rules that were created by the Republicans when they had the majority. I used to watch senate hearings on CSPAN and after Pelosi became speaker, there was considerable sniping between people of opposite parties about the rules. Obviously the rules do not permit bipartisanship and I am hoping that Obama persuades Pelosi et al to change the rules.

Four sentators who are retiring in January who have been senators for over 30 years said this is the worst they have ever seen the anger between members of the House of different parties. That is why nothing is being accomplished. That makes the democrats no better than the republicans. They are making us all suffer for their little vendetta.
Maybe you read to many comic books?
