How hard is it for David Cameron to pass legislation? as the Conservatives dont have a majority in the HoC?

Can he virtually pass any legislation with the support of Conservative MPs?How hard is it for David Cameron to pass legislation? as the Conservatives dont have a majority in the HoC?
Its a piece of piss for Dave to pass legislation. Nic, his side kick, saw he had a shot at power %26amp; now licks Dave's *** betraying his party in the process.
To pass the legislation he has to count on the support of his own Conservative party plus the Liberal Democrat party who they are in coalition with in order to achieve a majority in the HoC.

At the moment the majority of the Liberal Democrat MP's are happy to go along with the legislation as been in government has increased their position even though some pieces of legislation have gone against their own election manifesto. (e.g. change in University tuition fees)

If the coalition does break then the result would be no party would have a majority in the HoC although it would be likely that the Conservatives (The party with the most seats) would form a minority government although that situation would then be very difficult for them to pass legislation during a time where decisive action needs to be taken with the economy and deficit. How hard is it for David Cameron to pass legislation? as the Conservatives dont have a majority in the HoC?
NeoNerd is so far of the mark to be laughable.

The point of the coalition is that only part of the legislation is Conservative. The rest is very watered down or Lib/Dem.

From the 6th April your Tax threshold will increase by 拢1000 so your wages will rise about 拢200 net, per year, this is due to the Lib/Dems and it was given in exchange for the Lib/Dems supporting some of the harsher Spending Cuts.

B.Lair and Brown could pass legislation as they wished, which is part of the reason we got in the mess we are in. Cameron has to negotiate.

The Socialists hate this state of affairs because like Communists they don't like people to disagree with them so they demonise the opposition.

How many times do you hear Labour saying the Tories will Cut the NHS, and Privatise the NHS.

B.Lair did Privatise parts of the NHS. Parts that Thatcher vetoed being Privatised, she was against the idea, but that is not good enough for the Socialists, no make out it was her idea, and hope people will forget she had been gone 10 years when B.Liar Privatised parts of the NHS, right under everyones nose. But he had that luxury of being able to pass any legisilation that he wanted to.
That's what the coalition is for. As the Conservatives don't have a majority, but if they combined with the Liberal Democrats to form a government together they jointly do, and the Liberal Democrats were happy with that, that's what they did. That's what a coalition is - a government with more than one party in it.How hard is it for David Cameron to pass legislation? as the Conservatives dont have a majority in the HoC?
JOHNIEA - under our constitution it is the prime task of her majesty's opposition to call the government to account - this is what they are supposed to do. Hence in the House of Commons the government sits directly opposite the other parties which is unique in world politics.

We, as people, have no direct means of challenging our democratically elected government so the opposition does that for us. With the house of Lords as the revision chamber. Further checks on the governments will to legislate.

Sadly this is flawed by the fact that a party's manifesto promises can be meaningless because they are not required in law to adhere to any of the content in their respective manifestos. CLEGG - Student Fees big lie !!!
He does have a majority - he leads the Coalition of the Lib Dems and the Tories. So he can get almost anything he wants passed, with a little compromise.
It becomes a game of persuasion and favors.
