We have heard throughout the primaries that McCain is not a "real" Republican. So many hard-core Republicans actually hate the guy. HATE! And he really has worked hard over the years to pass a ton of legislation supported by Democrats.
Question to true Democrats:
Even if you agree more often with things (nobody agrees with everything...but most things) that Clinton or Obama say, do you still believe it is possible that McCain would actually get more Democrat-type legislation passed due to his unique status? If you agree that it is possible, does it seem probable?McCain: Does he have more power to pass Democrat legislation than the actual Democrats?
No. Look at McCain's voting record. He still votes along Republican party lines almost 97% of the time. This notion that he is some kind of 'maverick' Republican is bogus.McCain: Does he have more power to pass Democrat legislation than the actual Democrats?
