Why are Republicans blocking legislation and letting suspected Terrorists on No Fly list buy guns?

Democrats want to make it illegal for anyone on the "No fly" list to get a gun. Republicans are blocking this and letting those suspected of terrorism buy guns. Why would they let this happen? Even if this list is not perfect and it is far from it, do you want people on this list to be able to purchase guns and pull off a terrorist attack on us?Why are Republicans blocking legislation and letting suspected Terrorists on No Fly list buy guns?

6 year old Alyssa Thomas is on the no fly list, it is a list that they can put you on for no reason whatsoever, what a great way to circumvent the 2nd amendment.



They put that legislation in place and the next thing you know 100 million American gunowners will be on that goddamn list.

The reason they are on such a list is because they are "suspected" of having ties to terrorism. Not they have actually done anything wrong.

Suspicions should not override constitutional rights.

Until these people are PROVEN terrorists, they should have no restrictions on gun ownership. BUT of course, a PROVEN terrorist is either a)in prison or b)on the run from the law...BOTH of which make it very hard to LEGALLY buy a gun, anyway.

Why not? If this is true, it's probably because the looney left is willing to put anyone that doesn't agree with their side on the No Fly list. Sounds crazy I know but there's some crazy ideas out there these days on just how much they want to change this country. I'm all for keeping terrorist from hurting us but our own Dept of Homeland Security Director classified Conservatives and Veterans as extremist. I'm sorry but I'm definitely not willing to give these people anymore power or anymore of my rights.
First, republicans don't control the house, the senate or the white house. How in the world would we be able to block ANYTHING (ques).



Secondly, conservative republicans believe in the constitution and the rule of law. If there is no legal basis for denying a person the 2nd amendment right to own a handgun, why would an unreliable list like the no-fly list overrule the constitution.

Democrats want to stop terrorists from purchasing guns. But republicans and many democrats know that this is not possible. Terrorists can get guns from anywhere. and this is a known fact. many republicans are not really blocking legislation they are just putting it to their advantage. They want the problem fixed.
